Leadership Training Conference 2022
A lifetime experience is waiting just for you.
Leadership Training Conference (LTC) is perfect for those new or experienced in DeMolay! You will learn how to get the most out of your membership in DeMolay, build leadership skills that will enhance your future, and how to get your friends in on the action! (Registration ends July 22, 2022.)
There are four tracks of learning and involvement depending on where you are in DeMolay and what you want to get out of your membership!
The DeMolay Leadership Program is for newer members that want to learn how to:
o participate in a meeting to help plan activities o take an active role in building the organization through membership activities o plan and deliver a speech to a group o apply the lessons of DeMolay to your daily life o work as a member of a team
Minimum requirements for admission: An Active DeMolay who has seen both the Initiatory and DeMolay Degrees. You do not have to be an officer in your Chapter to attend this program at LTC.
The Chapter Leadership Program for those that desire to lead the Chapter and expand leadership skills:
Learn how to:
o run a meeting o plan a successful event o plan an outstanding term for your chapter o work with your whole chapter as a team for success
The Chapter Leadership Track at DeMolay Region One Leadership Training Conference will teach you how to become a successful Master Councilor in your local chapter. Through your training and planning, you will be able to lead your chapter to new heights of success.
Minimum requirements for admission: Be an active DeMolay in good standing.
Recommended for admission: 1 year of membership in DeMolay, prior attendance at this or another DeMolay leadership conference in the DeMolay skills or equivalent program, be a councilor in your chapter.
The Jurisdictional Leadership Program is for those that would like to expand and achieve on the jurisdictional level. This is ideal for an older member that has achieved success as a Master Councilor and desires experience on a jurisdictional scale.
Learn how to:
o develop programs for multiple Chapters o assist Chapter in advancing their own programs o leverage the skills you learned as a Master Councilor to o advance DeMolay o work with the Executive Officer and Jurisdictional Staff to help your Jurisdiction succeed
Minimum requirements for admission: To participate in this program, you must meet the minimum eligibility requirements for a Jurisdictional Officer in your home Jurisdiction.
Recommended for Admission: Past Master Councilor or finishing your term as Master Councilor who has attended this or another DeMolay Leadership Training Conference in the Chapter Leadership Skills or equivalent program.
The Personal Growth & Leadership Program will explore the opportunities for personal growth and achievement. How to apply the skills learned in DeMolay to the challenges of everyday life.
Learn:
o The difference between leadership, management, and mentorship o How to lead through mentorship o How to clearly and effectively communicate with others o The ins and outs of living independently o The first step to starting a career beyond DeMolay o Applying for jobs, college, or scholarships o How to show your personal leadership as you start a career
The Personal Leadership Track at DeMolay Region One Leadership Training Conference 2022 will teach you how the skills you are learning through DeMolay apply to your personal development towards adulthood.
Minimum requirements for admission: Be an active DeMolay in good standing who has completed the 10th grade.
Registration:
The cost for the best week of the DeMolay Year is $350.00 per person. Space is limited at LTC so regisration is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Registration fully closes by Friday, July 23rd.
